ISO 9001

The ISO 9001 is a process-based and logical approach to the management of your organization. It is designed and developed to ensure your company addresses your customer concerns while achieving expectable level of fulfillment. The last time, it was updated was in 2015, giving it the current standard name ISO 9001:2015. Besides taking this certification, a firm is also required to renew it.

The 2015 ISO 9001 standard is now usually referred to as the ISO 9001 Certification, replacing the ISO 9001:2008 version.

ISO 9001 Certification in Practice

The certification requires defining the quality strategy and objectives that stand for the expansion and application of the Quality Management System (QMS). Next, management support needs to be addressed and client requirements need to be identified for the QMS. Besides, essential and non-compulsory procedures and methods must be implemented to effectively produce and deliver your products/services. ISO 9001 Certification requires the inclusion of 6 mandatory archives and additional ones as their values are recognized.

Advantages

  • Multiple concerns are addressed simultaneously, saving time and money on repetition
  • Improved time management & growth in board assets

While customer contracts usually require ISO 9001 Certification, it is not legally required.
